Cam Moneo holds a Master’s degree in Cinema and Media Studies from York University in Toronto. (Just thought I’d get that out there up front.) His love of cinema is deep and true, and he has aspirations one day to teach Film Studies courses as a university professor.

Though his tastes are relatively non-discriminatory, Cam has a special fondness for the films of Tsai Ming-liang, Dennis Hopper, French cinema (before and after the New Wave), and classical Hollywood, as well as a burgeoning appreciation for anime. His favourite film is La belle et la bête (Cocteau, 1946).

Cam’s other blogs include:; and the moribund (one entry).
